Hi all
I am swapping over to another blog format.
I do most of my blogging via my iPad and I've tried out the blogger app with very little success.
The Wordpress app has so much more functionality - placing pictures where I want them, scheduling, adjusting the blog look etc
So good bye to here and hello.... New look and new, more uplifting name!

2013 - I'm back!
Hi all
This year of 2012 has been very busy - I know next year will be too but I intend on picking up this blog again.
I have already done massive amounts of fashion blog/facebook and YouTube following in the last year and feel like I am no longer struggling so much as before on my fashion exploits...
I have a new look. Short hair and streaked... And I am now doing nail art on my own nails and others nails. And my wardrobe is changing tact...
So I hope you join me again in the new year of 2013 to see how much I've picked up... Or not...
By the way 2013's pantone colour of the year is Emerald Green!
See, learning new things already...
Till then have fun over christmas and be safe...

Changing tact this year in 2011 and I am no longer going to do anything else with this blog.
So it is officially abandoned - till a later date if I am interested in this type of stuff again ;)

Jewelery and hair
I'm no expert at jewelery and hair but here is what I do with what I do with mine......
To the left you actually see me wearing 2 necklaces and one bracelet about my neck.
Starting at the top:
the two strands of green "pearls" are one necklace. It is a revamped 4 string necklace from my grandmother.
The next one is the necklace and charm bracelet joined together. One charm so far.... I found the charms really annoying around my wrist.... I've lost 3 charms off this wearing it around my wrist so had enough and wanted to actually keep my mini sword so just joined it on my fave circle necklace. I might actually add more charms now.... ;) makes the necklace look more interesting. Saw a really nice star with a fake diamond in it.... hmmmm
This is my hair....
It actually takes ages to mess up your hair every day and add hair extension clips. It is well worth it though but it is very very fun looking and less... well.... Normal.
The full look.... Ok I had changed my necklace's.
Plain long top from Temt $7
skirt - altered jeans and stamped with fabric paint
brown tights and brown shoes.
ok thats it. lol
Not sure if my new look will last.... Not sure if I can afford to keep it up.... Tim Burtons type fashion is alot of lace, stripes, frilly, goth look....... I have hardly any of that - and defiantly no black. lol

Hit and miss day
Hi everyone,
sorry its been a while. With earthquakes, family commitments and an infection its been hard to keep up with everything.
But here I am back again.....
Todays hit and miss day was more of an experiment.
I love the goth look, I also love Tim Burtons wifes look and Tim Burtons characters costumes in his movies.
I have NOTHING like that in my wardrobe. No black as my colour pallet has no black in it but charcoal and finding that colour in the shops at present is near impossible.
But anyway I have tried out doing stuff with hair and makeup. And layering jewelery.
I messed up my hair.
and clipped it up.
Put charcoal around my eyes in eyeliner and eyeshadow.
My jewelery:
I took a necklace and a linked charm type bracelet and put them together. This photo doesn't do it justice really it looked pretty cool. More charms on the charm bracelet and it would really pop. I'll show you a proper photo some other time.
But in this photo I don't look much different. NUTS. Oh well we do try.... Maybe its called "re-inventing" ones self or its called "a mid-life crisis" but I have had alot of compliments looking like this.
lol
Maybe its because I finally put on a skirt!
I know that the national standard uniform for mothers with kids under about 8yrs of age is:
Top and jeans with sneakers or some other practical shoes.
I really have to break out of that.
I will have to try to make it my mission to break out of that "mothers uniform."
see you later. Hope to post more often soon.

Getting ready for summer
I'm getting ready for summer and altering some tops that I have been given.
This is the first one......
It was originally a tank top but I'd rather have sleeves so I also was given an old polyester style scarf I cut up for the ruffles.
It worked out really well and I don't look too much like a clown. (which I was initially afraid of). My hubby is finding it hard to get used to the pink in it. But I'm sure he will get over it as he sees it more and more....
All the colours are from my colour palette too. Bonus!
If you want to make yours hop over to Disney's blog where she will walk you through your own tank top alteration. ;)
Have a great day.

Hello all
Hi all.
Its been an interesting time here in Christchurch, NZ.
A 7.1 quake hit the city (about 2 weeks ago) and we are all very shaken (excuse the pun). Thankfully no-one was killed - a pure miracle really in itself.
Due to this my priorities have shifted in life a bit.
My faith in God now comes first - Like it should have in the beginning.
Family next of course.
Blogging and creating is getting a back step.... but will still continue.
Nothing like a shake up to prioritize things aye.
